  • Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a practice that involves the insertion of sterile stainless steel single-use needles into specific points on the body known as acupoints. These points correspond to various bodily functions and are selected based on your specific health needs. The process is painless and safe in experienced hands. The needles are retained for 20 to 45 minutes, during which many patients experience a profound sense of relaxation, often falling asleep. This ancient technique stimulates the body's natural healing processes, promoting physical and emotional well-being.

  • Electro-Acupuncture

Electro-acupuncture combines traditional acupuncture with modern technology, using small electrical currents passed between pairs of acupuncture needles. This method enhances the therapeutic effects of acupuncture by providing continuous stimulation to the acupoints. The intensity of the electrical current is carefully adjusted to suit your specific condition, making it an effective treatment for pain relief, muscle stimulation, and improving nerve function.

  • Dry Needling

Dry needling, rooted in the ancient tradition of acupuncture, involves the precise insertion of fine needles into specific muscle trigger points, often referred to as Ah Shi points. This technique aims to release muscle tension and alleviate pain. Unlike traditional acupuncture, the retention time for needles in dry needling is shorter, focusing on immediate muscle relief. Our practitioners, trained extensively in this method, ensure the process is painless and highly effective, incorporating comprehensive TCM theory to determine the optimal points for treatment.

  • Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient practice that involves placing glass, or silicone cups on the skin to create suction. This suction mobilises blood flow, enhances circulation, and promotes healing. The cups can remain stationary or be moved across the skin in a technique known as mobile cupping. While cupping may cause temporary bruising, it is a harmless and painless side effect that indicates the body’s natural healing response. Cupping is beneficial for relieving muscle tension, reducing inflammation, and enhancing overall well-being.

  • Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a therapeutic technique that involves the burning of the herb Artemisia Vulgaris, commonly known as mugwort, to generate warmth and stimulate healing. This method can be applied in various forms, such as direct moxibustion, where a moxa stick is used, or indirect moxibustion, where moxa is placed on the ends of acupuncture needles or within a moxa box. The gentle heat produced by moxibustion penetrates deeply into the tissues, promoting blood circulation and alleviating pain and inflammation.

  • Tui Na

Tui Na is a form of Chinese therapeutic massage that integrates acupressure, manipulation, and massage techniques to restore balance and harmony within the body. This hands-on therapy focuses on specific acupoints and meridians to alleviate pain, improve circulation, and promote overall health. Tui Na is especially effective for musculoskeletal issues, such as back pain, joint stiffness, and sports injuries, as well as for enhancing relaxation and reducing stress.

  • Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a traditional healing technique that involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool to stimulate microcirculation and promote healing. This method helps release muscle tension, stimulate lymphatic drainage, improve blood flow, and reduce inflammation. Although Gua Sha may cause temporary bruising, it is not painful and is considered a beneficial part of the healing process. Gua Sha is commonly used for treating chronic pain, respiratory issues, and enhancing the immune system.
